WE are hvaing a problem with our SAP restores, the backup takes 2
hours however when we start a restore via sapdba the restore takes 14
hours. We are running HP-UX 11.0, OmniBackII 3.5, Oracle 8.06, and
SAP4.0b. Any ideas? When I do a normal filesystem restore the timing
is cosistent with the original backup time of 2 hours and the restore
takes 2.4 hours. The problem seems to be when we call the restore from
sapdba. Could there be some sort of data verification happening with
sapdba that slows the restore down?
