Shopping for 2 linux servers

Hi !

We would like to RAPIDLY set up a GOOD linux box to run oracle on. I'm nor familliar with server manufacturers and I tought that maybe people here have already done the shopping and found interesting solutions.

What we need is one server to run the database oracle 8i standard edition (Single processeur, P3 or P4 or AMD class)

The server should:

• Run LINUX
• Offer and support ECC RAM (1 Gb RAM at least)
• Have HARDWARE raid (For the boot disk as well as the database, we want minimal intervention on this system as it will be used as a turnkey solution for people not used to linux nor oracle)
• Easy to backup (If you can suggest a tape backup and a backup software for linux, suggestions welcome)
• Have good support (In Canada if possible)
• There will be LOTS of data on this server, mainly images, but they don't necessarily have to be stored in the database.
• The databse tables proper will use only a moderate amount of storage.
• GOOD documentation for the hardware

The other server will be used to run iAS 9i standard edition and offer:

• 512 Mb ECC RAM at least
• RAID 0 for all the filesystems including boot disk
• P3 or P4 or AMD athlon processor
• Approx 10 Gb storage (mirrored is enough)
• GOOD documentation for the hardware

If you know of any RELIABLE/REPUTABLE company offerring that kind of hardware, please make your suggestions to me. I'm in a kind of hurry and need to find a vendor ASAP. I would really like to buy the whole system at a single place.
