Definitely not an expert here, since I'm having troubles -- can't get dbaassit going yet. But, I found that the rebuilding part happened fine once I ran from KSH. Which shell are you usin?

 Hi,

I'm trying to install Oracle 8.1.7 on my Debian 'Sid' machine.  Installation went without a glitch. Now, as I have glibc 2.2.4, I  installed the glibc patch (using setup_stub.sh). Received on Thu Sep 06 2001 - 11:14:19 CDT
