Changing URL To Start OAS

We want to change the URL used to start Oracle Application Server from its default value of http://server_name.domain:8888 to http://other_server_name.domain:8888, ie, we want to change the server name component of the URL. Defining other_server_name.domain as a DNS alias for server_name.domain doesn't work - we can still only connect using http://server_name.domain:8888. How do we do this?

We run OAS 4.0.8.1, on Unix.

Thanks in advance.
