Closer to what I wanted, but not quite. dump_tnsnames gave me what I was looking for, but only when I got it to work. If you are not the root domain it doesn't work (bug). list_objects was also a better match to what I was looking for. But thanks, it was still very useful information.

What I am really trying to do is query sort of show me all dbnames that are like some pattern.

query *QAS* cname.smd

To show me all databases that are QA databases. Our instance naming scheme is XXXYYYNN XXX - Company YYY -(DEV,QAS,PRD,TRN,TST...) NN is the project number.

So if I wanted to find all databases for project 02 I could do it.
