I'm using "thin" jdbc driver. But in fact, how can I know if the listener is running ?

1 Please do NOT post in HTML. Many newsreaders like Forte Agent can not read it.
2 Please try to read the Oracle supplied documentation. It's not provided for nothing.
You are now in trial and error mode, just hacking away, asking questions which are all documented
3 To check the existence of the listener, please use tnsping <service name of your database)
