Since you are using 8.1.6 the database registers automatically with the listener and thus doesn't require a listener.ora config file. However, OEM does. The agent reads the file to find out what databases are there. Make sure you have a correctly formatted listener.ora file. If you create one, then you need to restart the agent. Check the nmiconf.log (i think that is the right name) to see if the agent "sees" the databases. Received on Sat Aug 25 2001 - 11:54:37 CDT
