I have 2 questions about standby database 8.1.7 on nt4.

1.I have a standby database and i want to change my temporary tbsp to locally managed tablespace in the primary database. how can i implement it on the standby database ?

2.I want to add datafile to tbsp in a primary database. i know that in the standby database i should write the command 'alter database add datafile 'filename1' as 'filename2''.

would someone explain me what to put instead of filename1 and to put instead of filename2?

assuming that the directories in the primary db and the standby db are different. Received on Thu Aug 23 2001 - 03:35:35 CDT
