I have a new database created on a new Oracle installation (8i on Win2000) on 8GB hard drives. The database has several tables which have only just started to be used.
The biggest table has 15,550 rows at an @ row size of 60. The problem is that the data file is showing 5.5GB, and can't create any more extents because the disk is full.
What has caused the database to reflect this much storage requirement? How do I fix the problem?
I estimate that I have no more than 10MB of info in all the tables.

Thanks for your help. Received on Wed Aug 22 2001 - 08:41:51 CDT
