Dear all,



In the Oracle 8i Amdinistration test, there is a question about
whether an off-line tablespace stay off-line after re-start, I didn't
know that during the test. Later I tried it and found the answer is
'yes'.



Anyone knows the rationale behind this? Why does an off-line
tablespace stay off-line after re-start? Thanks in advance.
