Hello!
When you connect to server, you may choose between few modes
(normal,sysdba,sysoper).
Check this.
If you want connect as sysdba, then you need correct init<SID>.ora ->
remote_login_passwordfile=exclusive
and run orapwd under unix to setup sysdba password.
