Because something has changed and I don't know what it is.



After several years and thousands of exports from many instances
I am concerned when something suddenly changes. Why did it
happen? Has something else, potentially more serious, happened
that I haven't noticed yet? etc.....



A good DBA (and I do not claim to be one) ignores such things
at his or her peril.
