thanks for that info. I might have to take another look into RMAN when I get a chance. I suppose if I can do C (I can) or Java (No way Hose B) or Serbo Croat Not yet) then I could just about manage RMAN.

Java or serbo-croat, you'll not find it a problem. ;-)
