Hi

Please keep this group informed of the TAR. I'd like to know what you find out.
As for myself, I know that since 8.1.6, you can't access a dump file through Decnet anymore (using node"user pwd"::disk:[dir]file.dmp syntax). I was told they do not use RMS anymore to translate file names, but instead they use some internal code.
In essence, they tried to reivent the wheel but it's not round anymore.

Maybe they changed more than that? You'll probably find out.
