Help:Standby database alert file

We have a standby database. Every
15 minutes, we see a message to the
alert file

alter database traf1 recover automatic standby database Media Recovery Start
Media Recovery Log
Media Recovery Log /archive/oradata/prod/prod_69574.log Media Recovery Log /archive/oradata/prod/prod_69575.log ORA-279 signalled during: alter database prod recover automatic standby dat...

Is there anyway we can make oracle stop writing these messages to the alertfile?
