Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: ETL tool - insight on Ascential DataStage?
Our agency ( MnDOT) did an extensive RFP and Proof of Concept for ETL tools and Informatica came in a close second to Datastage so both are very good products and we recommended that both be added to the State of Minnesota Contract.. We went with Ascential ( at the time Informix/Ardent ) because it did some things, in our environment, a little better and its interface was easier to use..We also felt its Metadata integration with our Oracle environment worked better for us..
