The best documentation I have found on the data dictionary can be found by browsing the following files.
SQL. BSQ
CATALOG.SQL
CATPROC.SQL
CATEXP.SQL
PUPBLD.SQL
And if you still have any questions, there are plenty more files in RDBMS/ADMIN
for your reading pleasure.
