Kill Sessions ask !

Hi,



I'm using Oracle 8.1.6.



When I kill session with "ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION 'nnn,nnn' ", this
session is marked KILLED but it never disappear from V$SESSION.
This is a problem because the I have reached the MAX_NUMBER_PROCESS.
Does anyone know why the sessions marked KILLED don't disappear ?
