You may wish to try the ibm-main newsgroup. Oracle does run on the OS/390 plaform. There is a link off orafaq.com with lots of good info even though some is outdated. Also, go to the site share.org that has presentations on Oracle on OS/390. If IBM is the mainframe you are talking about.
