Intelligent Agent on Linux

We have two Linux Oracle 8.0.5.1.0 servers, both using VA Linux distributions. One is equivalent to RedHat 6.0, one is equivalent to RedHat 5.2.

I am trying to get intelligent agent working on these boxes and neither works.

Both give errors in log of:

NMS-00315 Failed to create tcl package index

The 6.0 instance has the additional error message (above the NMS-00315 error) of:

NMS-00205 Failure to connect to database with username/password.

Metalink has a bunch of entries with this error, but none seem to correct it.

I am, obviously, new to OEM and Intelligent Agent. I got the OEM repository and console working using Oracle 8.1.7 on another Linux box, and got its Intelligent agent working fine, but it is a newer Linux distribution and a newer version of Oracle.

Any help would be appreciated.
