Universal Installer on HP-UX

Has anybody else had problems running Oracle's UI on HP-UX? I've done many installs on AIX servers (using various x-windows software) with no problems. When I try to install on HP-UX (11.0), the UI window is malformed, often cutting off buttons from the bottom making it difficult to proceed. The problem gets even worse when I try to run other tools like Data Migrations Assistant or DB Assist. I've tried numerous x-windows emulators and even contacted Oracle about this to no avail.

Any suggestions?
