Oracle 8.1.7 - Server component to make ADO - MSDataShape run

We are currently moving our live server from Oracle 7.3.4 to Oracle 8.1.7.
The problem is the old database was set-up a while ago and current staff was
not the same as at that time.  So we don't know what part on the Oracle
Server side needs installed to make Visual Basic able to run MSDataShape
queries on the Server. It is something to do with a Oracle database table
called 'MICROSOFTDPROPERTIES'.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.
