Encryption (Oracle8i)

Hi,

We're developing an application in our company that requires some data encryption, which in itself is not a problem. The problem is that most good encryption schemes require a master key.....

Now, the question in short: Is there an internal encryption functionality (using Oracle8i) that can be accessed through PL/SQL etc.that would allow me to deposit a master key encrypted in the database?
