Hallo



I want to install oracle 8.1.7.0.1 on my home computer with redhat 6.2
I read in documentation, oracle  requires scsi controller. My HD is
connected to eide.


Does it mean, that installation  doesn't even start or oracle will be
working slower after installation ?
