No space left on device -- this error


results from inadequate semaphore parameter.  Bumo uo these numbers along with
no of shared memory segments,



Max sahred memory segment appears to be OK.



Depending on the processes parameter


specified in the init.ora, Oracle will 


try to grab the required resources for


shared memory and semaphore. If it can't,
'no space left ondevice' will appear.
