Logging

Some time back I found/generated a file that recorded log file switches. Now that I want to check it again I can no longer find it. Any ideas?

What I'm trying to do is determine how often log switches occur. We aren't currently archiving our logs but we want to start. (More accurately, I've convinced management we should start.) I need to figure out how many log files are generated daily. As a side issue this will also tell me whether or not our log files are sized properly. I've heard that a log switch should occur every 15-30 minutes during the day. Received on Tue Feb 20 2001 - 18:47:14 CST
