Definitely don't agree with you.
First of all (I verified) this is commercial software and ads for commercial sw should be placed in comp.databases.oracle.marketplace He posts his ad in all Oracle newsgroups and *every* day. This does definitely qualify for the title *spammer*, which is exactly what he is. If his software would have possessed any merit he wouldn't have needed this, because others would have recommended it. IMO: recommendations are allowed (and belongs to your 'learning of new tools' category), but spam is not allowed and the poster should get lost immediately.
