Maybe if people got out of the habit of connecting Internal, the world would be a marginally happier place. It's a horrible Oracle 7 shortcut for the "proper" Oracle 8 connection string, which is 'connect sys/oracle as sysdba'.

Internal dies next version. Get out of the habit now, whilst you can.
