Hello Esteemed Oracle Gurus,

When I am trying to connect to an Oracle 8i Database, I get this error,

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e31'

[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation

This is not because I am closing any recordset or pressing the ctrl C button, because I am not doing that. Can any esteemed Oracle Guru give me a solution.

PS. The database is not being written to although it is significantly large (million records).

OTN says that the process was cancelled by the user which is not true in this case at all.

Thanks in Advance !!

Ehsan
