As last I heard the MS Win2k certification requirements made it manadatory to use the new windows installer for certification I would have thought that Oracle can't possibly be certified by MS. Equally I also can't believe this is a serious problem for any shop that understands what 'certification' actually means.

As far as Java goes I don't see any sign that Java will not run on any future MS OS. They have pulled Java dev tools put I don't see that as a big problem.

Just my opinions.
