TSPITR is a very particular method of using a clone database to recover data which is then exported/imported back into the production database -usually performed once in a very blue moon, and only when a bog-standard incomplete recovery (which is the correct term, incidentally, for a 'point in time recovery') is not possible (eg, "When did you drop your table?" "Er, four weeks ago").

Normal incomplete recoveries, including 'until time', 'until cancel' and 'until SCN' are not affected.
