Hi Sara,

It's always been default behaviour for dependent objects to become invalidated when you change the definition of the referenced object.

If the change doesn't render the dependent object permanently invalid it just recompiles next time you execute it. This behaviour refers to local dependencies. Remote dependencies are slightly less cooperative..

When you migrated from 7 to 8 is there any other structural change made to the network? Are dependencies that were once local (on the same node) now remote?
