in our case Sun's CPUs have the highest probability of failure. Disks are not actually made by sun (western digital, or whatever), and I believe we only had 1-2 disk failures, but since everything is mirrored, doesn't affect us much.

We use Oracle 7.3.4 and 8.1.6 on Solaris 2.6, 2.7 boxes
