If there are no indexes on the table,
and the table is a standard (heap)
table, then the error message cannot
apply to the table itself.
1410 has to be telling you that a
rowid has been found that cannot
be converted to a legal table row.
I would __guess__, therefore, that this is telling you that you have some corruption in the data dictionary.
To check this, you could try setting sql_trace on and re-running the SQL, then check the trace file to see if the error occurs at a particular point in the recursive SQL.
You might then want to go a little further and run with event 10046 at level 4 so that you can see the bind values used in the recursive SQL. This may allow you to identify the actual data that is causing the problem.
