I have implemented Oracle on Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) on Solaris using EMC frames. There is no performance issue as only one node in the cluster accesses the disks at any one time.

Just a note, HA does NOT provide 7x24, it just minimises your downtime in the event of a failure by automatically moving your resources to a working node. There is still time required to unmount/deport/import/mount filesystems and restart all the processes. This is just from the db point of view. You need a robust application that can automatically reconnect. If your application gets cut adrift when the resources migrate then you haven't gained very much for the expense of setting up a cluster.
