Vendor EAI product drops database connection

I have an EAI product that through OCI connects to an Oracle database.



Periodically the application (which resides on the same Box as the
database) will lose the database connection. SQL*NET tracing shows
nothing. The vendor says its not there problem.



Any ideas?
