RFS network connection lost

I thought I would share this problem and resolution:-

I was getting the following in the Primary Database alert log

ARC4: Beginning to archive log# 1 seq# 3173
ARC4: RFS network connection lost at host 'Standby'
ARC4: Error 3113 detaching RFS from standby instance at host 'Standby'
ARC4: Completed archiving log# 1 seq# 3173

This was because the Standby Database was being shut down and then brought back up to do manual recovery and then brought back into a Read Only Mode.

Subsequently, the Primary database would do a Log Switch - later on in the evening - at the end of a Hot Backup session.

This Log Switch would then cause errors with the Remote File Server (which had gone down with the Standby Database shut-down and restarted earlier).

By changing the Log Switch to ARCHIVE LOG CURRENT, I have solved the bug/problem whatever but hey (!) it works.
