   Hi,

     Does import resets a sequence.
I did an export for a user and then did an import with rows=n and
indexfile=xxx.sql to generate the scripts. Is there any way that it reset a sequenece owned by user.

I was using this sequence to build a primary key. After I did the exercise of export and import when the next time the process was run it had higher value in tables primary key then sequence.

I did a test with another user but it did non reset the sequenece.??     Anybody encountered a problem like this. Thanks and regards,
Ashish
