I have experienced a similar problem with thin drivers.  I switched to oci
driver and it works.


I spend 6-8 hours a day on the phone with the sqlnet developers at oracle
helping them track this down.



This is seriously high on their list of things to work on..



Send me a reproducible  test case and I'll get in front of the developers,
bypassing support.
