From www.pointbase.com a provider of a java database

Bruce Scott, President and CEO
Bruce Scott, President and CEO, co-founded Oracle in 1977, where he was co-author and co-architect of Oracle 1, 2 and 3. Many in the industry still think of Bruce as "Scott/Tiger" - the original user name and password for the Oracle database, which still appears throughout Oracle documentation. In 1984, Bruce co-founded Gupta Technology (renamed Centura Software) where he provided database technology leadership for over ten years. Most recently, Bruce was a founder and principal at inquiry.com.
