- Can other machines connect to this database, or has the listener gone
down?
- If other machines can connect, I suspect that your TNS name is
misconfigured. From the Net8 Easy Config utility, you can test the TNS
name you created for this database. If the test fails, you've entered
one of the parameters incorrectly-- look at machines that can connect
and make sure your settings agree with theirs.
