Replication with different priorities ?

Hi,
I want to replicate from two tables in an 8.1.5 database to another 8.1.5 database.

Can I give the tables different priorities ?

One of the tables receives real-time data feeds which must be replicated on within 30 seconds.

The second table is updated by batch updates and 5 minutes delay is OK.

I have also been told that it will take 2 weeks of coding in Enterprise Edition Replicator API - which is hard to believe for a product which claims to define the state-of-the-art.

Is this true ?

I look forward to receiving any help, and also references where I can read up and understand Replication, preferably online.

TIA B.Dimple.
