Installation error with makefile

I was trying to Install oracle8.1.6 on solaris8 according to OFA compliant recomendation without database creation,

after installation completes it started linking and giving error such as

error in invoking target ntcontab.o of makefile
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk

like this
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/plsql/lib/ins_plsql.mk
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/ldap/ins_ldap.mk
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/hs/lib/ins_hsodbc.mk
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/network/lib/ins_oemagent.mk

I proceded with ignore option and after completion

it shown runtime error occured

now
SVRMGR prompt is coming but I cannot connect internal

SQLPLUS prompt is coming but system/manager is not working
