Bitmap index creation question...

Hi,

I have been trying to create a bitmap index and getting the ora error of feature not enabled. Is there any role privileges i have to give to the user other than the resouce and connect in order to create this bitmap index. I confirmed that my parameter has the create_bitmap_area_size to have been set to 8MB and the bitmap_merge_area_size to have been set to its defaults.

Could some one tell me of what should I do inorder to enable this feature.

BTW, my oracle spces are

Oracle 8.1.6 STD
SunSolaris 2.8
