Were you in the same machine with the oracle database? if yes,
Did you try to connect to the database without using Net8?
In command prompt, set environment variable ORACLE_SID = xxxx(the oracle
sid,
the default may be demo or orcl if you have not changed), and then run
svrmgrl.
