Makes no difference, in the sense that Oracle will be happy to see NT wherever it resides. But you'd be certifiable if you installed it on either a PDC or a BDC -all that traffic as Users get validated at logon, and retrieve their non-Oracle stuff over the network: it will cripple Oracle's own performance. If it was just for testing, maybe you wouldn't care, but if this is going to be a production system, invest in a standalone server.
