Hi,

I am not very experienced with Oracle, so this might be a very simple
question.

I have to install additional software on a Unix system (Solaris) that
already has Oracle installed on it.

When I log on as unix user "oracle", start the svrmgrl tool and type
CONNECT INTERNAL, then the system asks me for a password. I have tried
passwords such as "oracle", but it doesn't work. I also tried to find a
password file (for example PWD.ora), but could not find one.

Can I remove the password somehow? Or reset it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Gert-Jan
