ORA-27102: out of memory

Hello,
  When I use "dbstart" to startup my Oracle 8.1.6,   it appears:

SQL> Connected to an idle instance.
SQL> ORA-27102: out of memory
Intel SVR4 UNIX Error: 22: Invalid argument SQL> Disconnected

  Is my memory size not enough?
