Hi,

I am having the following problem:

In an Oracle 7.0 environment on a SunOS 5.4 machine, I want to enable trace files. Queries coming from an application are caught in these trace files. Somebody told me to do the following:

  1. shutdown Oracle
  2. Update the init.ora file by inserting sql_trace = true user_dump_destination = <pathname>
  3. start oracle

This is what I did, but somehow I don't see any trace files. Anybody got an idea ?

Regards,
