Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: Help: cannot create database on Linux
Digging in the background_dump_dest directory, I found a file named "pmon_4141.trc" created right after the temptative startup. The file has the following content:
Dump file /oradata/prd1/bdump/pmon_4141.trc
Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.5.0.2 - Production
With the Partitioning and Java options
PL/SQL Release 8.1.5.0.0 - Production
ORACLE_HOME = /home/dba/u01/app/8.1.5
System name: Linux
Node name: feb2000 Release: 2.2.12-32 Version: #1 Mon Oct 25 19:56:23 EDT 1999 Machine: i686
Could this be some indicator to the nature of the problem? What is "Load Indicator"?
